Sorry for the brief hiatus in posting (nothing since last Friday, yikes!), but I am slowly coming up for air since taking a whirlwind tour of the Southeastern U.S., by car, with two children 3 & under. So, you might imagine my state of mind and thus excuse me for the delay.
The other thing I’m sliding back into is my green habit lifestyle. On the road, try as I might, it’s a difficult thing to be eco-friendly, manage two children and keep my sanity all at the same time. And when I was finally home yesterday, and it was time for after-dinner kid clean up, I instinctively reached for the paper towels instead of my freshly washed stash of reusable cloths. Did a mere 8 days cause me to forget my habits entirely? It amazes me that such a short period of time away from the day-to-day requires me to become reacclimated to my regular routine!
So, here’s my quandary: What can I do next time, when I travel, to stick closer to my eco-friendly habits and practices? What do you do?
